Description
You’ll enjoy this lovely handmade tobacco pipe made in Denmark by Erik Nørding. This is a seriously beautiful pipe and comes in “unsmoked” condition. Features an acrylic stem as well as a flared feature where the shank meets the stem. This pipe has a removable tenon that allows for use of an optional 9mm filter. Truly a gorgeous pipe by one of the world's leading pipe makers.
The pipe is made by one of the most storied pipe-making families in the world. What started as a passionate hobby in the late 1950s has since evolved into a multi-generational family driven business. Today, at the age of 81 (2020), Erik Nørding has been making pipes professionally for more than 55 years. Erik is still very much involved in the business and he still produces a few handmade high-grade pipes on his own. Knud Nørding - Erik’s son - manages the sales and marketing worldwide. The third generation and Knud's son, Victor, is involved in the sales and marketing activities along with Margarita Nørding, Knud's wife.
The pipe you see is the pipe you get. This pipe came to us from a private collection, and where necessary, has been expertly restored by a local craftsman. This pipe has not been previously smoked. Because it has been pre-owned, the price is drastically reduced compared to what this pipe would cost new (assuming that you could even find it). We stand behind these pipes; if you ever have an issue, return it to us for repair or refund. Note: Tobacco pipe stands used in the pictures are for photography purposes only and are not included.
