This tobacco was custom blended before WW1 for Scottish Reverend John White who later introduced it to Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin. Baldwin fell in love with the blend, ordering regularly also for himself under the name he invented – “Presbyterian Mixture”.
Presbyterian Mixture is a medium-strength English blend with a pleasing room note. A Virginia-forward ribbon cut blend, it has nuanced flavour and aroma thanks to a mix of Macedonian Oriental tobaccos and a subtle hint of Latakia. 50g Tin. Note: these are now shipping in plain packaging.
