Description
Churchwarden pipes are characterized by extra-long stems, promoting a comfortable smoking posture that’s best enjoyed in a favourite chair. The added length minimizes hand movement while smoking, and it also allows the smoke to cool as it travels from the chamber to the button. Nørding’s Churchwarden Spigot line elevates traditional Churchwarden designs with a spigot mount; the metal fitments along the stem base and shank end add durability and chic elegance.
The series is crafted from some of the finest briar available and most of the pipes are partly rusticated with areas of burgundy finish. Nørding’s elegant Spigot Churchwarden Series pipes deliver a relaxing, cool smoking experience and are available in a variety of colours and shapes with semi-rusticated finishes. The pipes are fitted with vulcanite stems and stamped “Handmade by Erik Nørding”. The images provided represent the actual pipe for sale as no two of these churchwarden pipes are alike. This particular pipe has a flat bottom and sits upright on a table unassisted. Each pipe comes with a branded Nørding cloth bag for storage.

About Nørding Pipes
Nørding Pipes is the brainchild of Denmark’s Erik Nørding. What started as a passionate hobby in the late 1950s has since evolved into a multi-generational family-driven business. Erik Nørding turned 80 in 2019 and has been making pipes professionally for more than 55 years. Erik is still very much involved in the business and he still produces a few handmade high-grade pipes on his own. Knud Nørding – Erik’s son – is managing the sales and marketing worldwide. The third generation and Knud’s son, Victor, is involved in the sales and marketing activities along with Margarita Nørding, Knud’s wife.
Nørding is a family-owned pipe factory located just outside of Copenhagen in Denmark. They aim to produce uniquely beautiful pipes to give you that fantastic and unforgettable smoking experience over and over again. Innovation, quality, and passion are key components in their daily work to make a Nørding pipe your next choice.
