Named after four of history’s most famous Roman Emperors, each pipe of the Emperor line is primarily distinguished by the colour of its finish. In addition to these differences, like fine Italian wines, each line carries a selection of styles to suit even the most discriminating palate. These pipes are an incredible value – they are made of top quality briar but are not expensively priced. They have quietly grown to be one of our best selling pipes as consumers discover this hidden gem of the pipe world.
All Emperor series pipes come with an installed plastic plug which you can remove to allow a 9mm filter. The stem is easily removed from the shank as the latter is lined with cork.
The pipe shown is part of the Nero series. Pipes in this series have a bowl and shank that is mostly rusticated;
but there are accent areas where the briar is polished to a smooth gloss.
